The lock supports multiple unlocking methods: capacitive fingerprint sensor (up to 100 fingerprints, suitable for dry or rough fingers), passcode (up to 100 codes with random passcode protection), smartphone app, and a mechanical key for emergency access.Equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy (BLE) communication, the ML300 pairs with the ZSmart App for seamless management, enabling users to lock/unlock the door, view access logs, and share temporary or dynamic passcodes with guests.
 
An optional Bluetooth Gateway (sold separately, e.g., ZKTeco SLG-200) extends functionality to include remote unlocking, real-time notifications for low battery, unauthorized access attempts, or hijack alarms, and log history tracking. The lock is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice-activated unlocking when paired with a compatible gateway and smart home devices (availability varies by region).
 
Powered by four AA alkaline batteries (not included), the ML300 offers up to 1.5 years of battery life (approximately 10,000 accesses). A micro-USB port provides emergency backup power. The lock features a European standard mortise for auto-locking upon door closure, enhancing security. It is not water-resistant, making it suitable for indoor or semi-outdoor use under cover.
 
The ML300 supports door thicknesses of 35-60mm and operates in temperatures from -20°C to 55°C.The package includes the lock, mechanical keys, mounting accessories, and a quick start guide, with a typical 24-month warranty (varies by retailer). Data security is ensured through encrypted communication, and the lock complies with FCC Part 15 standards for minimal radio interference.
Note: The ML300 is not IP65-rated or solar-powered, unlike some ZKTeco access control devices like the ProCapture-WP. For Wi-Fi connectivity, an optional SLG-200 Wireless Gateway is required.
