The Hikvision DS-PDMC-EG2-WE is a wireless magnetic contact detector from the AX PRO Series, designed for indoor door and window security.

It detects unauthorized openings using a high-quality reed switch triggered by a magnetic field, with a maximum detection gap of 43 mm. Featuring a slim, unobtrusive design, it’s ideal for discreet installation on various door types, including metal bases.

The detector uses Tri-X wireless technology with two-way RF communication on 868 MHz, AES-128 encryption, and a 1.6 km transmission range in open space, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity. It offers tamper protection (front and rear), low battery monitoring, and connection checks, with real-time alerts via the Hik-Connect app if the signal is disrupted.

Fully configurable remotely, it supports multiple enrollment methods (power-up, remote ID, QR code) and easy installation. Powered by a CR123A battery, it provides up to 5 years of standby life.

The device operates in temperatures from -10°C to 55°C, has an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance, and measures 22.5 x 103 x 23.2 mm (sensor) and 13 x 34.4 x 11.4 mm (magnet), weighing 59 grams.
