Part of the FlipX Standard Series, the FLX-S-DT is Optex's latest indoor Dual-tech PIR sensor with new to the market, innovative pyro sensor with human catch element for creating human-sized detection areas and superior pet tolerance.
Equipped with a rotatable lens FlipX sensors allow an easy switch from wide to narrow detection, meaning that you can do twice as much with a single product. It's the perfect choice for everyday intrusion detection in residential or small commercial sites and can cover various installation fields. The FLX-S-DT model features dual technology (PIR and microwave detection) for improved performance in challenging indoor environments.
Advanced pyroelectric sensor
Equipped with the latest technology, bespoke pyroelectric sensor, the FlipX Standard ensures high performance and accuracy. What makes the sensor unique is its ability to adapt to the human shape and differentiate humans with greater clarity, avoiding false alarms triggered by pets.
Dual technology
The FLX-S-DT is a dual technology sensor using both PIR and microwave detection. Only when both the PIR and microwave activate will the alarm be triggered. However what really makes the FlipX stand out is the use of our bespoke Tough MOD 2 which unlike other microwave sensors, tailors its detection range to the IR sensor, providing higher levels of capture performance whilst mitigating false alarms.
Spherical lens design
The specially designed spherical lens provides a precise focal length of each detection ray onto the pyroelectric elements. This advanced lens design helps to ensure consistency throughout the field of detection and considerably reduces the chance of missed alarms
Easy installation
The FlipX Standard comes with an easily viewable LED indicator in green so you are sure the sensor is turned on and working. It also comes with a 180 degree cover lock which can be easily removed to rotate the lens and change the detection area from wide to narrow.
