The EZVIZ EB8 4G Pan & Tilt Battery-Powered Camera (Model: CS-EB8, 3MP, 4GA) is a versatile, wire-free outdoor security camera designed for areas without Wi-Fi or power access. Operating on 4G LTE networks (requiring a Micro SIM card and cellular data plan; Nano SIM adapter included), it eliminates reliance on Wi-Fi, making it ideal for remote locations like vacation homes, farms, or wilderness areas.
 
The camera is powered by a 10,400 mAh rechargeable battery, offering extended operation, and is compatible with EZVIZ Solar Panels (Type-C version, sold separately) for eco-friendly, continuous charging using solar energy.
Featuring a 3MP (2K, 2304 x 1296) resolution, the EB8 delivers sharp, detailed footage with a 100° diagonal, 83° horizontal, and 44° vertical field of view.
 
Its motorized pan-and-tilt functionality provides 360° coverage (340° pan, 65° tilt), with up to 12 preset angles configurable via the EZVIZ App for automatic return to preferred views. The camera supports color night vision and infrared (IR) up to 15 meters (49 feet), ensuring clear visuals in low-light conditions, enhanced by a built-in spotlight (which does not flash in color night vision mode). 
 
The EB8 includes smart human motion detection with auto-tracking, allowing it to focus on human activity while filtering out irrelevant motion (e.g., animals or foliage). An active defense system with a siren and strobe light deters intruders, and two-way audio enables real-time communication via the EZVIZ App or pre-recorded messages.
 
A GPS locator function ensures the camera can be tracked in open outdoor environments, though it may not function indoors. The camera is weatherproof (IP65-rated), designed to withstand rain, snow, and harsh conditions.
