The Ajax MotionProtect Curtain is a wireless curtain-type motion detector designed for indoor perimeter security. ideal for protecting windows. doors. and other entry points.
 
It features a narrow horizontal detection angle (6°) and a vertical angle of 90°. with a motion detection range of 6 to 15 meters. adjustable based on sensitivity settings.
 
Equipped with two PIR sensors and a multifaceted mirror optical system. it provides precise detection of human movement. including slow or fast motion. while minimizing false alarms through Correlation Signal Processing.
 
The detector is pet-immune when installed correctly. ignoring animals like large dogs (e.g.. Saint Bernards) if mounted upside-down at 40 cm above the ground.It connects to Ajax hubs (Hub. Hub Plus. Hub 2. ReX) via the secure Jeweller protocol. offering a communication range of up to 1.700 meters in open spaces.
 
The device uses advanced encryption and switches frequencies in case of interference or jamming. ensuring reliable data transmission. Powered by a pre-installed CR123A battery. it operates for up to 3 years and is configured via the Ajax mobile app (iOS/Android) by scanning a QR code.
 
The MotionProtect Curtain is IP54-rated. operates in temperatures from -10°C to +40°C. and is suitable for homes. garages. or museums. It supports easy installation with a SmartBracket mount and includes anti-tampering features.
